Grays Athletic manager Gary Phillips has said he will not walk out on his side's battle to beat relegation from the Blue Square Premier.
Grays conceded four goals in just 19 first-half minutes in a 4-1 defeat at Histon on Tuesday.
Phillips told BBC Essex: "I'm never going to quit on anything, I believe in whatever I do.
"If the players aren't performing, then big changes have to be made. What those changes are going to be I don't know."
Grays chairman Mike Woodward visited the dressing room at half-time and Phillips added that he had no issue about the incident.
"He's totally entitled to come and say what he felt, he pays the wages.
"In the first half that was not we expect from our players, he came in and told them so and he has the right to do that."
