Forest Green Rovers sign Wealdstone's Kieron Forbes
Forest Green Rovers have signed 20-year-old Wealdstone midfielder Kieron Forbes for an undisclosed fee.
Meanwhile, Rovers have handed a permanent deal to on-loan Newport midfielder Wayne Turk, 29.
Northampton loanee Steve Guinan, 35, has signed a contract to stay at Rovers until the end of the season.
But Rovers have also confirmed that midfielder Mike Fowler and full-back Curtis McDonald are set to leave, to join Newport County.
Fowler was on a month-to-month contract, having missed most of the 2009/10 season with a career-threatening ankle injury, while McDonald was only at the club on non-contract terms.
Forbes, who has made over 100 appearances for Wealdstone, worked with Dave Hockaday at Watford during the Rovers boss's time as Academy coach.
He arrives on a deal that includes a sell-on clause, although the length of the contract has not been revealed.
