Dagenham & Redbridge manager John Still has praised his side's performance in the Carling Cup First Round.
The Daggers lost 2-1 at home to Reading on Tuesday, a last-minute goal from Noel Hunt proving decisive.
"They paid us a lot of respect because that was a strong side out there," Still told BBC Essex.
"I didn't want extra time, we took the chance to win it or lose it and we lost it, the level of performance was terrific," he added.
