Crewe Alexandra will head off to a Bulgarian training camp as part of their pre-season preparations.
The Alex will spend five days training at FC Maritsa ahead of the new League One campaign after first-team coach Steve Holland approved the facilities.
Holland told BBC Radio Stoke: "The alternative was to have a few days in this country, however this was a much better alternative."
The Railwaymen will leave for Bulgaria in early July.
