Chris Coleman has had a testing time in Spain

Chris Coleman says his position as Real Sociedad manager became untenable when new president Inaki Badiola said others at the club would pick new players.
The 37-year-old resigned from the Spanish second division outfit on Wednesday after six months in charge.
"It's obvious what the problems are, two differences of opinion from the president and myself," said the former Fulham boss.
"I explained I wouldn't stay if other people picked new players."
The Welshman's decision represents a change of heart after insisting he would be staying in San Sebastian following a previous meeting with the new president.

606: DEBATE

Coleman, and his assistant Steve Kean, depart with the club fifth in the Segunda Division, just a point off the promotion places after a run of just one defeat in the last 11 matches.
"We signed three-year contracts because we believed that's how long it would take to stabilise," said Coleman.
"However things have changed so we are very sad to be resigning from our posts at Real Sociedad.
"We thought long and hard and really wanted to stay, but at this moment it's obvious that is going to be impossible."

The main thing now is that Real Sociedad is promoted, this season or next season, eventually they will do it

Coleman offered to resign last November following the departure of former president Maria de la Pena, but was persuaded to stay by remaining board members.
Following his departure Coleman added: "They are a terrific bunch of players, with their mentality, work ethic all top drawer.
"But unfortunately we have run out of time and we wish them the best and whoever the next coach is.
"The main thing now is that Real Sociedad is promoted, this season or next season, eventually they will do it."
