NatWest Pro 40 D1, Lord's: Middlesex 202 (38.4 overs) lost to Hampshire 228-6 (40 overs) by 26 runs
Ervine celebrated his new Hampshire deal with a fine hundred

Sean Ervine's century guided Hampshire to a 26-run win over Middlesex and sent them one point clear of a pack of four teams at the top of Pro40 Division One.
Ex-Zimbabwe all-rounder Ervine (103), who recently signed a long-term deal at the Rose Bowl, hammered eight fours and four sixes from only 76 balls.
He put on 100 for the fifth wicket with Liam Dawson as the Hawks posted 228-6.
As long as Andrew Strauss (71) remained Middlesex had a shot but three wickets for three runs ended their challenge.
Dawson took 4-45 as Middlesex were dismissed for 202 despite a good knock from Strauss.
He reached his half-century from just 52 balls and shared a fourth-wicket stand of 63 with Eoin Morgan.
But Strauss was trapped lbw on the back foot by Dawson, in the next over Morgan was bowled round his legs sweeping at Imran Tahir and when Gareth Berg was beaten by late turn from Dawson the match tilted decisively Hampshire's way.
Earlier, Ervine had completed his hundred in the final over with three successive boundaries off Tyron Henderson, whose last two overs went for 30 runs.
