Arsenal's most magical player?
Dennis Bergkamp's 100th goal for the Gunners against Oxford United in the FA Cup completes possibly the classiest-ever Premiership century.
Can any other Arsenal player come close?
Dutchman Dennis Bergkamp may not be the most prolific of goalscorers, but he is certainly one of the most stylish players to ever grace the game. His pinpoint control and assured touch have held the Highbury faithful spellbound for seven years. Career highlights include what was described as the finest-ever hat-trick, against Leicester in 1997, and his outrageous spin and sidefoot against Newcastle last season. His creativity and vision have assisted scores more goals for his team-mates, and inspired his team to victory when they had seemed to have run out of ideas. Is he the most gifted Gunner of all?

Yes, Dennis has to be in the all-time greatest eleven, at least for the 40 years I have been watching the Gunners. I agree that Brady was his equal, and Charlie George could have been as good or better if only he had delivered as consistently or as long.
I moved to London the same month that Bergkamp moved to Arsenal. Having been an Ajax supporter up to that point I thought it only just to support Arsenal. Since that month some seven seasons ago, I have watched Bergkamp and Arsenal walk hand in hand to become one of the greatest players and teams in Europe.
Every time he gets the ball, you hold your breath for a fraction of a second and wait to see that moment of brilliance that makes him one of the most unique and talented players that I have seen in my lifetime.
Have you all lost your mind? Bergkamp is very good but have you ever seen Thierry Henry? Twinkle Toes runs circles around Mr B.
Bergkamp's goals are unique. He is a special footballer who scores special goals. If all the goals he has scored in his career are shown, people will realise what a genius he is. Not many players possess the skills and vision he has, even a tap-in goal he scores has something about it.
Ian Wright has my vote, although Seaman and Bergkamp come very close. I can't stand Arsenal as a Man Utd fan, but Wrighty is a legend!
Bergkamp scores great goals but not enough of them. Michael Owen is 23 and has already scored more than 100 goals for Liverpool.
I remember hearing the news about Bergkamp's arrival in the summer of 1995 from a family member. I was so excited that I sat in front of the radio listening to Radio Five Live just to hear the news being confirmed. I just couldn't believe it.
Seven years on and he's still here and notching up his 100th goal in the process. He's one of my favourite Arsenal players of all time.
Dennis is not a great goal scorer, but a scorer of great goals. The man is a genius. He is the sort of player one can tell his kids about.
I am a Manchester United supporter and even I have to say that Bergkamp is a wonderful talent. The goals he scores make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up.
When Bergkamp signed we needed a player like him to encourage other wonderful world class players to come and show we had ambition. A million thanks Dennis you are truly great.
I'd like to nominate Ian Wright. Spirited, free-scoring and naturally gifted amongst a very high calibre of competition. He may not have the panache of a Bergkamp, Pires or Henry but he had a hunger for goals I've not seen before or after. Ian Wright, Wright, Wright!
Being an Arsenal fan I have to say Dennis Bergkamp is a genius, but for me Thierry Henry is our most magical player. He scores great goals and I think Bergkamp could never score a goal like Henry did against Spurs.
Bergkamp is a very clever player, but I think he is beginning to lose touch with the pace of the game. I think Robert Pires is the most creative Arsenal player
Bergkamp is one of the all time Arsenal greats - his setting up of Freddie's goal against Juve last year was one of the best assists I've ever seen!
Without a doubt, Dennis has got to be one of Arsenal's greatest players. His touch is amazing, his vision is the best and his creativity is mind-boggling! He may not have the pace of Henry, but he makes up for that in everything else. What a genius!!!
Maybe some players were or are better, but I think nobody scores like he does. His goals can make you cry, and appreciate the beauty of the game. His goals are balletic (eg. Against Newcastle).
Although he may not score many goals now, I believe that Bergkamp is the brains behind Arsenal's formidable attack. When he is on form he gives Arsenal the extra dimension that will earn the Gunners more silverware in the future!!
What about Perry Groves?
Bergkamp is good but Brady did it more consistently, which is why Brady was also a success in Italy.
I think Bergkamp is Arsenal's most magical player. When Bergkamp plays at his best there's no stopping him and also some of the goals he scores are magic. Out of all the strikers Arsenal have got, I think Bergkamp is the best. The best goal I think Bergkamp has scored was in the 1998 World Cup.
