Barry Davies won one Wales cap as a replacement against Ireland in 2006

Ospreys back Tom Isaacs will miss the start of next season with a knee injury, while Barry Davies could be a doubt with his ongoing groin problem. Davies has had a second operation on the injury that has limited the full-back to 20 minutes play since November. Isaacs, who moved from Newport last summer, suffered his injury on Wales Sevens duty, having just returned from six months out with a shoulder problem. "Tom is looking at four-to-five months out," said Ospreys physio Chris Towers. "He damaged knee ligaments and pulled a hamstring tendon off the bone playing with Wales Sevens. "In Barry's case, he hasn't progressed as well as we would have hoped for following his surgery in March. "Having sought specialist advice we have had to go down the route of further surgery to repair a damaged tendon in the groin."
