Williams suffers new injury blow

Rhys Williams
Rhys Williams returned in November after a 12 month lay-off

Rhys Williams has suffered another knee injury set-back and will be out of action for up to six weeks.

The 44-times capped back-three player has undergone more knee surgery, this time to clear out the joint.

Williams returned in November, 12 months after suffering a dislocated knee cap and has been largely involved with Cardiff Rugby Club since then.

The former Blues captain was part of the 2005 Grand Slam squad, but has been hit by injuries in recent years.

In September 2006, Williams tore a muscle from his hip bone.
