Exeter Chiefs fly-half Gareth Steenson paid tribute to his forwards after the side won promotion to the Premiership by beating Bristol 29-10 on Wednesday.
Steenson kicked 24 of the Chiefs points in the Championship final second-leg, and was named man of the match.
The 26-year-old told BBC Spotlight: "People may turn round and say I might have won it on my own, but I don't feel like that.
"The boys up front were fantastic, and they're the guys who win penalties."
He added: "We went out and the boys were absolutely magnificent, it's a whole squad effort."
Exeter started Wednesday's game with a 9-6 aggregate lead from last week's first-leg at Sandy Park.

And just as he had done a week previously, Steenson was flawless with the boot as he helped the Chiefs extend their lead in the opening exchanges at the Memorial Stadium.
In all, the Ulsterman kicked six penalties and two drop-goals, guiding his side into the promised land of Premiership rugby, thanks to a 38-16 aggregate win over the two legs.
He said: "I've been working for this since I came over to England.
"This is my fifth season and this was always the ultimate goal to try and get into the Premiership.
"To win it, and to actually go up with the club is fantastic, words can't describe it."
With the likes of Bath, Gloucester, Leicester and London Wasps all now set to visit Sandy Park next year, Steenson is simply taking his time to get used to that thought.
"It hasn't sunk in," he said. "We've just got to enjoy the next few days and then we'll get ready for next season."
