The Sharks' sixth straight win came courtesy of tries either side of the break from Mark Taylor and Magnus Lund.
Kickers Daniel Larrechea and Valentin Courrent kept Leicester at bay despite pressure at the end of each half.
Matt Cornwell scored Tigers' only try late on after Leicester trailed 16-9 at the interval.
Leicester head coach Pat Howard:
"We made enough breaks to win about five games. Opportunities presented themselves which we didn't take.
"I think they made three or four breaks and converted two of them so compliments to them.
"Their second try was a very soft one to concede - that put a bit of distance between us. That made it difficult and it was the killer."
