Redruth have completed the signing of versatile forward Gareth Evans from Championship side Plymouth Albion. Evans, who played at both hooker and in the back row for Albion last season, also plays for the Royal Marines. The 27-year-old is 6ft tall, weighs 16St 10lbs and made his debut for Albion in National One against Newbury in February 2007. Evans signing comes just days after Redruth agreed an historic ground-and-players-sharing deal with Mounts Bay.
