A stoppage-time try from wing Rob Thirlby saw Redruth snatch a late victory at Westcombe Park.
The Reds were poor in the opening exchanges and found themselves 6-0 down after giving the ball away too often.
But tries from full-back Emyr Lewis and number eight Mark Bright put Nigel Hambly's team in charge.
The hosts hit back through wing Kirk King to lead 13-10 before Thirlby's 45-metre solo effort put Redruth 10 points clear at the top of National Two.
