Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have secured their future after paying off an outstanding tax bill. In November the club avoided a winding-up order by reducing its debt owed to Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs from £353,000 to £194,000. The club was given 84 days to clear the rest of the debt and on Wednesday it was confirmed they had done so. "That is the end of the matter as far as we are concerned," said the club's executive director Diane Maskill.
