York City Knights will make changes to their squad for Sunday's trip to Batley in the Northern Rail Cup.
The game is the third in eight days for the Knights and coach Paul March is trying to keep players fresh for the start of the league campaign in March.
David Clayton will be back from injury and Adam Mitchell, Carl Barrow and Scott Woodcock are all included.
March said: "It's great to be unbeaten so far this season and confidence is high but we need to keep working hard."
Forwards Chris Clough and Tom Hodgson, along with half-back Danny Grimshaw will be rested.
With two wins from their first two games the Knights would get through to the next round of the competition if they beat Batley.
March added: "We would be delighted to qualify for the quarter-finals but we are not there yet."
