Guernsey's shooters have returned from the 140th British Open in Bisley with their biggest ever haul of silverware. The Sarnians won two team and five individual titles at the prestigious shooting festival. Peter Jory won the Sunday Aggregate, the Elkington, the New Zealand Trophy and the Brigadier. Nick Mace also tasted individual success claiming the prestigious Stock Exchange trophy, whilst the team won the Dominion Challenge Trophy. The team's performance and haul of medals was their best return since they started shooting at Bisley in the 1890s.
