Nottingham Panthers have appointed former netminder Davie Graham to their coaching staff. Graham, who played for the Panthers from 1987 to 1992, was part of the side which won the play-offs in 1989. Coach Corey Neilson said: "Davie is a very composed guy. He knows his stuff and I believe he is going to bring a lot to the table." Graham added: "This is a great job with a great club. It is a privilege to be asked to join the team." The former shot-stopper has already ran the bench with Manchester in the Elite League, Solihull in the BNL and with Guildford and Telford in the EPL.

Graham's coaching roles also include international stints in charge of the Great Britain U-18s and the GB women's team. He has also coached England U-14s and at Conference level with the U-17s. "I'm not setting any targets but you always aim to do better than in the previous season," Graham said. "Corey's putting a strong roster together and the backroom and front office staff are second to none."
