Nottingham Panthers have signed a new netminder with the addition of French-Canadian Kevin St Pierre.
St Pierre's signing means there will be no return to the National Ice Centre for Michel Robinson - who led Panthers to the play-off final.
Coach Corey Neilson told BBC Radio Nottingham: "I know Kevin plays huge in the net and he's won a string of league titles in his career.
"It was a tough decision not to sign Michel back though," Neilson added.
"He came in and did well and we wish him all the best."
St Pierre has spent the last two seasons with Tulsa in the Central Hockey League in America, and before that spent four years with the Fort Wayne Comets of the United Hockey League.
He has won a series a netminding awards in his career, including the UHL's MVP in 2004 and the UHL's Best Goaltender in 2004 and 2007.
St Pierre added: "I've heard so many good things about the team and the organisation, the building and the fans."
