New Bison player-coach Eric Braff hailed an 'awesome' result

Nottingham Panthers are without a victory in five games following a 6-4 home defeat by the Basingstoke Bison.
The Bison, whose future was only secured on Monday, were the better side throughout Tuesday's match.
Two goals from Matt Miller and strikes from Greg Chambers, Jeremy Cornish, Brent Hughes and Danny Stewart lifted Basingstoke to eighth in the league.
Panthers' goals were scored by Bruce Richardson, James Neil, Kevin Bergin and Corey Neilson.
On Monday previous Bison owner Tomas Enerston was replaced by Planet Ice, operators of the Basingstoke ice rink, after an early season dogged by financial difficulties and 12 consecutive league defeats.
The team have lost player-coach Ryan Aldridge and former captain Brad Cruikshank in recent weeks, but new player-coach Eric Braff paid tribute to his team-mates as they strung together their third win in four games.
"This was another awesome performance by the guys," said Braff.
"We played a full 60 minutes tonight and it was great to get a result in this building."
Panthers are next in action on Saturday when Manchester visit the National Ice Centre, while Basingstoke host Newcastle.
