Rogers joined Leicester from Chelmsford in the summer
Leicester ladies' Chloe Rogers will be hoping to make an impact when she faces former club Chelmsford on Saturday.
Leicester are still looking for their first league win season having drawn one and lost one.
The 23-year-old Great Britain international joined the Slazenger England Hockey League Premier Division side in the summer.
And she told BBC Radio Leicester: "It'll be a bit odd but I'll enjoy seeing some old friends."
On moving to Leicester Rogers added: "After returning from the Olympic Games in Beijing I felt it was a good time to make a change, particularly as I'd moved to Loughborough for personal reasons.
"Leicester have a great reputation and they've won a lot of titles."
Although Rogers has lined up for Great Britain on the wing or as a forward she is now keen to establish herself as a midfielder.
She said: "I'd like to develop more as a midfield player and even be a key player in that position."
