The
third series of Olympic Dreams
focuses on a mixture of British stars hitting new heights in Olympic sports, and young hopefuls trying to take the right steps to represent Team GB in two years' time.
What happens when their best is not enough? What happens when they fail on an international stage? What happens when they have given up everything for a goal that suddenly seems out of reach?
Find out when the second programme is broadcast at 2245 BST on Tuesday, 20 April.
The
first programme
, follows diver Tom Daley as he copes with the distractions of being a teenage sports star - from an appearance on TV show The Weakest Link, to dealing with his father's intrusion into a press conference.

Meanwhile, heptathlete Jessica Ennis is tackling one of her events in an entirely new way in order to beat a potentially career-ending foot injury, while young sprinter Shaunna Thompson finds health problems of her own to overcome.
And judoka Ashley McKenzie finds himself fighting his temper, which may yet jeopardise his hopes of representing Britain in 2012.
OLYMPIC DREAMS ATHLETES
Tom Daley Age: 15 Sport: Diving From: Plymouth
Daley is already, in his mid-teens, one of the most recognisable faces of the British Olympic team.
The Plymouth diver is Britain's best hope for gold on the 10m platform in 2012, and launched a brand new, ultra-difficult dive as 2010 began.
But things have not all run smoothly in the Daley camp: in the past, problems he has faced include bullying at school, a strained relationship with his former diving partner, and the embarrassing antics of his father.
Victory in the pentathlon at the 2010 World Indoor Championships in Doha further confirmed Ennis's status as one of Britain's leading athletes.
But her goal will be outdoor heptathlon gold in 2012, having missed the Beijing Games in 2008 following a stress fracture to her ankle.
Olympic Dreams followed her all the way through that potentially career-ending injury, and will be with her as she looks to complete her return.
GB pair reflect on Henley defeat
Andy Hodge and Pete Reed Age: 31/28 Sport: Rowing From: Yorkshire/Gloucestershire
Hodge and Reed formed one half of the British men's coxless four which swept past Australia to win gold at the Beijing Games in 2008.
Since then, the Oxford University duo have switched disciplines to become a new British pairs crew, but the transition has not been plain sailing.

2008: Ashley McKenzie on Olympic Dreams
Ashley McKenzie Age: 20 Sport: Judo From: London
A fight over Pokemon trading cards sparked McKenzie's interest in judo a decade ago.
Since then, he has held the junior number one ranking for his weight category, won bronze at the European Junior Championships and earned senior British Open gold.
However, McKenzie has more to grapple with than most. He suffers from ADHD, and his temper is as likely to throw him out of a competition as his opponents.
Britain's top synchronised swimmers earned their first international podium finish as a duo in March, taking silver at the German Open in Bonn.
That milestone came 13 years after the pair took their first steps in the sport, but their ambition remains to regularly place inside the world's top 12.
Appearing in Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans' hot tub in 2008 may be one highlight, but the pair are hoping for many more on the road to 2012.
Zoe Smith Age: 15 Sport: Weightlifting From: London
Smith was a
Newsround press packer
just a year ago - now the cameras are turned on the diminutive teenager, a leading light in the British weightlifting team.
Size in weightlifting matters, and Smith faces a battle to hold her weight at the right level for her category - sometimes, even the mascara has to come off to make the weight.
But the former gymnast has set over 200 British records in her short career, and now has her sights on the London Games.
Shaunna Thompson Age: 18 Sport: Athletics From: Manchester
Thompson's sprint double at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games in India etched her name into the minds of those searching for Britain's next track star.
She is succeeding off the track, too, having earned £30,000 in funding through a TV game show, while she now works as a nurse on a recovery ward for stroke victims.
Her target for 2012 is to convert the cash, and her early form, into success in the 100m and 200m sprints at a home Olympics.
