Swindon won their first meeting in more than a month, beating Ipswich Witches 49-44 at the Abbey Stadium on Thursday.
Leigh Adams and Troy Batchelor top-scored for the Robins, picking up a combined 25 points.
Batchelor told BBC Radio Swindon it was good to be riding his home track again after five weeks out with injury.
"I was pretty impressed with the way I went. On Monday I struggled, I didn't want to be near anyone and just wanted to play by myself," he said.
Jarek Hampel picked up a paid 16 points for Ipswich, who are fifth in the Elite League, just outside the play-off zone.
Swindon remain second, although they have ridden more meetings than most of the teams around them.
