Crump (c) is chasing his third world championship

Star Jason Crump is set to ride for Oxford Cheetahs in their rescheduled four-team tournament at Swindon. The meeting which will now take place on Thursday, 17 September and will feature the World Championship leader, who rode for Oxford in 1998. Meeting organiser Gary Patchett said: "Jason Crump is not riding in British league speedway in 2009. "Therefore, his inclusion in the Oxford squad will capture the imagination of the speedway fraternity." Other confirmed riders for the four-team tournament are: Steve Johnston (Oxford), Leigh Adams (Swindon) and Matej Zagar (Reading).
