Yeovil manager Terry Skiverton pleased with preparation
Skiverton is still looking for players
Yeovil Town manager Terry Skiverton believes his team is in good shape for the start of the new League One campaign next week.
The Glovers boss told BBC Radio Bristol: "Our pre-season preparation has been excellent.
"We've been away, we've bonded and I think we have put a good group of players together."
Skiverton was speaking after watching his side lose 3-1 to Bristol City at Huish Park.
Skiverton continued: "We just need to instil some belief now. Last year our results came in fits and starts, and we need to get a good momentum going.
"We need to go on a run of wins and put on good performances for the home supporters."
The Yeovil boss was not disheartened by the defeat by City.
He said: "It was a game I could take a lot out of. There were loads of positive performances out there."
Skiverton also revealed he is likely to further add to his squad before the big kick-off.
He said: "I'm expecting one or two to drop before the end of this weekend and hopefully one more after that. If I go into the season with what I've got I'll be happy, but there are still one or two places left to fill."
Sam Williams gave Yeovil the lead with a penalty against City but the visitors hit back with goals from Ivan Sproule, David Clarkson and Marlon Jackson.
