Wolves striker Chris Iwelumo believes the current squad can handle the massive expectation created by their place at the top of the Championship.
The Molineux club's supporters have seen previous promotion campaigns crash and burn spectacularly.
"The expectation's going to be there but we've got to deal with that," Iwelumo told BBC WM.
"We're a positive bunch but we're realistic as well. It's coming along nicely at the moment."
Iwelumo's partnership with Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has been one of the keys to Wolves' success, contributing 23 goals between them.
And the Scottish international striker knows it is crucial for the team to concentrate on their own results.
"We don't really keep an eye on what's going on around us, " Iwelumo insisted.
"We just kind of focus on ourselves and if we keep on winning and picking up points then that's all we can do really."
