Boyd (left) and Naismith combined well at Kilmarnock

Kris Boyd believes former Kilmarnock team-mate Steven Naismith has proved he is capable of joining him at Rangers.
Naismith has been the subject of three failed bids from the Ibrox club, which mirrors their chase for Boyd, who eventually joined up in January 2006.
"It's the same situation, having it dragged out," said Boyd.
"You can see Kilmarnock have done well as a team. Steven has been part of that and probably the one that has stood out so a lot of the credit is down to him."
Naismith resumed training with Kilmarnock on Tuesday and the Rugby Park squad fly out to Italy on Thursday for their training camp.
That may spur Rangers on in their quest to land the 20-year-old but Boyd reckons training will be a welcome distraction for his old striking partner.
"Kilmarnock are back in training and it is probably better that way so that he takes his mind off it," added Boyd.
"He has shown in the last two years what he can do. He has picked up so many awards which shows what he is capable of."
Kilmarnock are holding out for more than £1m and Boyd continued: "It's up to the two clubs to agree a fee.
"I could sit here and go on about him but I'm not going to unless he's a Rangers player."
