Plymouth captain Paul Wotton is finally set to return to full training next week, after nearly a year on the sidelines with a knee injury.
The 30-year-old midfielder has been out since damaging his anterior cruciate ligaments against Hull last December.
He made an abortive comeback in August, but jarred the knee in a reserve match.
"I'm very close to joining in with the first team - after one or two reserve games I'll be knocking on the gaffer's door," Wotton told the Evening Herald.
