Lewis in Children in Need return

Oxford United

Oxford assistant manager Mickey Lewis is one of several ex-players who will line up in a United legends team in aid of Children in Need.

Lewis will join former professionals like goalkeeper Alan Judge and winger Joey Beauchamp in the game against Soll Leisure at Abingdon United.

Lewis told BBC Oxford: "I am looking forward to it.

"I have been playing a bit in training and the lads think I have got a good touch for my age."

Meanwhile United's game at Mansfield has been brought forward by two days to Thursday, 4 December with a 1945 GMT kick-off.

Defenders Barry Quinn and Luke Foster have returned to training after ankle injuries.

Quinn is set to feature in Saturday's game at Grays, though Foster only has an outside chance of being fit.
