Notts County have signed midfielder Lewis Neal on a month's loan from Preston North End.
The Leicester-born 27-year-old will be in contention for a place in the Magpies' squad for Saturday's home match at Bury.
Manager Ian McParland told the club website: "I'm very pleased that we've been able to bring Lewis in and he will help to freshen things up.
"He's an attacking outlet who I'm sure will be very beneficial to us."
Neal, who has made 65 league appearances for the Deepdale club, was a graduate of the Stoke City youth system.
