Out-of-favour Leicester City and former Scotland goalkeeper Rab Douglas is close to sealing a move to Motherwell.
The 35-year-old, who joined the Foxes from Celtic in 2005, has not played for Leicester since February.
Douglas has spent the last week training with the Fir Park club, and he told BBC Sport: "I think Motherwell want me back up on Monday.
"I don't think we are too far away from getting things sorted with Leicester. My agent is sorting it out."
Motherwell manager Mark McGhee confirmed Douglas was keen to move back to Scotland after training with Motherwell.
"I was working on a few other options, but so far none of them have come off, so we decided to have a look at Rab," said McGhee.
Motherwell are seeking competition for present first choice Graeme Smith.
"We have Colin Meldrum, but he is now our goalkeeping coach and we need to bring someone else in as cover," added McGhee.
