Patulea is the Imps top scorer this season with 11 goals
Lincoln City striker Adrian Patulea has hinted that he may have played his last game for the League Two club.
The Romanian striker limped off with a hamstring injury after scoring the equaliser in the Imps' 1-1 draw at Chesterfield on Tuesday.
Patulea, who is out of contract in the summer, told BBC Radio Lincolnshire: "It's very deep and sore, in my opinion my season is over, I am disappointed.
"I feel that this will be the last applause for me."
The 24-year-old added that he was happy to discuss a new deal with Imps boss Peter Jackson: "When they want to discuss my contract I will be happy to discuss with them."
Patulea has scored 11 goals in 17 starts for Lincoln since joining from Petrolul Ploesti for an undisclosed fee in August 2008.
