Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has praised the contribution of DJ Campbell to the Foxes' 2-1 victory over Scunthorpe at the weekend.
The striker made his first start since August as Leicester returned to the top of the League One table.
Pearson told BBC Radio Leicester: "I think he worked very hard for the side and it is nice for him to get 90 minutes under his belt.
"He made some good runs and looked dangerous and he will get better."
Campbell has been limited to eight substitute appearances this season.
Pearson added: "I am pleased for DJ as he's had a frustrating time at the club in terms of getting a run in the side."
