Ipswich Town have signed Colchester United striker Kevin Lisbie on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old joined the Layer Road side from Charlton in August 2007 and scored 17 League goals last season.
Lisbie still had two years remaining on his deal but Ipswich are believed to have had a bid in excess of £500,000 accepted, due to a contract clause.
Colchester had tried to stave off the bid from the Portman Road side by reportedly offering Lisbie a new deal.

But the Hackney-born player was released by the Addicks last summer.
Lisbie had struggled to hold down a regular spot at The Valley, starting fewer than 90 matches and making more than 100 substitute appearances.
He has also had loan spells at Gillingham, QPR, Norwich and Derby.
