Parkin was pleased with his return in the reserves

Ipswich striker Sam Parkin has returned to action following ankle surgery.
Parkin, 25, played for 45 minutes in the 2-0 victory over West Ham reserves on Friday evening.
The summer signing from Swindon sustained a broken ankle in the defeat against Reading in November and recently suffered tendonitis.
Parkin told the club's website: "It was good to be back playing again. Everything felt okay as well, as good as could be expected."
