Huddersfield striker Danny Cadamarteri has said he has not yet started contract negotiations with the club.
The 29-year-old former Everton forward has been a regular in Lee Clark's team since his arrival as manager, but his contract expires in the summer.
He told BBC Radio Leeds: "I'm not pressing to get talks going, but I'd love to stay here.
"I know other clubs are sniffing around me, probably because they know my contract is close to finishing."

Despite the fact Cadamarteri has yet to score this season for the West Yorkshire club he has been a key figure in Town's upturn in form under Clark.
He added: "It's something I'm not really focusing on at the moment.
"I am only focusing on staying in the team at the moment. If the opportunity comes to stay here, I'd like that."
