Crewe defender Dennis Lawrence will be out of action for at least a month with a fractured cheekbone.
The Trinidad and Tobago international suffered the injury in Tuesday night's 2-0 win over Yeovil Town at the Alexandra Stadium.
The 32-year-old is currently on loan with the South Cheshire club from Championship side Swansea City.
Lawrence has made 20 appearances for the Alex since joining the League One strugglers in October.
