Crewe manager Gudjon Thordarson has no complaints over the red card shown to captain Julian Baudet in Saturday's 5-1 defeat at Northampton Town.
Baudet was shown a straight red in the 18th minute at Sixfields for a foul on home midfielder Giles Coke.
Thordarson told BBC Radio Stoke: "I think the red card was justified. The referee got it right.
"We shot ourselves in the foot and gave them confidence. With one man down you don't stand a chance."

Saturday's defeat leaves the Alex still rooted to the bottom of League One.
And Thordarson admitted that his side contributed to their own downfall.
"We started the game on the back foot," said the Icelander. "And after that it was hard to come back.
"When you a professional footballer you can't make the mistakes we did. Some of our defending was shocking."
