Zaluska and Boruc are club and international team-mates
New signing Lukasz Zaluska believes he has as much chance of being Celtic's first-choice goalkeeper as Artur Boruc.
Boruc struggled for form with Celtic last season and lost his place in the Poland team.
Zaluska has joined Celtic under freedom of contract after leaving Dundee United and is eager to impress recently appointed Celtic manager Tony Mowbray.
"I have to prove to the manager that I'm a good goalkeeper and the chances are equal right now," Zaluska said.
"The competition is really fierce.
"With every training session, I want to prove I deserve to play the game and the competition can only be beneficial for the club."
It will be really beneficial for both Celtic and Poland

Zaluska, who was a team-mate of Boruc's at Legia Warsaw, agreed to join the Glasgow club before Gordon Strachan resigned as manager.
"It doesn't make any difference," the 27-year-old added. "The new manager is watching all the players and every player has to show 100% of his capabilities."
Zaluska, capped once against South Africa, insists international coach Leo Beenhakker is not concerned that two of his goalkeepers are competiting for one place at the same club.
"Recently, I have heard he is really glad we are both at one club because we'll be influencing each other and it will be really beneficial for both Celtic and Poland," said Zaluska.
"I'm really looking forward to playing European games, but I'm more looking forward to it if the club will be playing in the Champions League."
