Assistant manager Dennis Booth has left Carlisle United.
"The club fully understands the reasons behind Dennis leaving, and would like to place on record our sincere thanks," a statement from the Cumbrians read.
Booth arrived at Brunton Park in October 2003 as assistant to Paul Simpson, who left to become Preston's new boss earlier this month.
At the time, Simpson said he would not be bringing any of his former Carlisle coaching staff with him to Deepdale.
