Bristol City midfielder Marvin Elliott says he can be fit for the start of the new Championship season.
Elliott, 25, has played only 45 minutes of City's pre-season after fracturing his toe.
"I've got a lot of catching up to do and not a lot of time to do it," Elliott told BBC Radio Bristol.
"I'm raring to go, prepared to work hard and try to get my place. We just want the season to start," said Elliott who was in last season's PFA team.
