Blackpool boss Simon Grayson has signed midfielders David Fox and Neil Wood - but allowed John Doolan to join League Two side Rochdale on loan.
Fox, 22, has moved on a free transfer from Manchester United and agreed an 18-month deal with the Seasiders.
His former Old Trafford team-mate Wood, 23, arrives from Coventry for a month, with a view to a permanent move.
But fellow midfielder Doolan, 31, has agreed to join Rochdale on loan with a view to a permanent move.
Fox had also been a target for Blackpool's League One rivals Yeovil Town.
