Jerome should be fit despite his energetic performance against Palace
Birmingham boss Alex McLeish has said he is optimistic about the fitness of three key players ahead of Saturday's home game with Sheffield Wednesday.
James McFadden and Quincy Owusu-Abeyie should be back in contention after missing the win over Crystal Palace.
Cameron Jerome is also likely to be fit after running himself into the ground during Tuesday night's match.
"We were really worried that he may fatigue and pull something," McLeish told the club's website.
McFadden has been struggling with a groin problem since Scotland's World Cup qualifier against Norway at Hampden Park but a period of rest appears to have done him some good.
Owusu-Abeyie has a thigh strain that is also responding well to treatment.
Blues may welcome back David Murphy at left-back for the meeting with the Owls after his recovery from a knee injury.
