Jones believes the Bluebirds can draw on previous FA Cup experience
Barrow captain Paul Jones says the Bluebirds are confident of causing an FA Cup upset against Brentford on Friday evening.
Jones will skipper the Blue Square Premier side against their League Two opponents in front of a near-full house at Holker Street.
"We've got to be confident. We want to win," Jones told BBC Radio Cumbria.
"We saw what happened to Havant & Waterlooville last season and we all want that."
The Bluebirds have beaten Tamworth (4-0) and Eastbourne Borough over two games (0-0 & 4-0) to earn themselves a tie against the Bees.
"It's not often we get a chance to get to the third round to get a big team so it's a massive game for us," Jones said.
There are 36 places separating the two sides in the league structure with Brentford lying in sixth in League Two while Barrow are 17th in the Blue Square Premier.
The Cumbrians have faced Bristol Rovers and Bournemouth in the FA Cup in the last two seasons and Jones believes that experience could help the club.
