Aston Villa striker Kevin Phillips insists the club's disappointing season means the players are under just as much pressure as manager David O'Leary.
The Midlands club are set for their lowest Premiership points tally and may only finish 17th in the table.
But Phillips, 32, said: "We are all in this together, it's not just David O'Leary that is feeling the heat.
"Fans may call for the boss' head but the team are playing for their futures. I've no doubt some will leave."
Villa's previous worst tally was 45 points under Graham Taylor in 2003 - and the club currently lie on 39 points, with only one game remaining.

With speculation surrounding O'Leary's future, as well as the club's board, Phillips admits it has been a desperate season.
"It's not a statistic players want to be associated with and it's up to us to finish the season strongly then go away in the summer and put things right," added Phillips.
"I've also been told this is also the worst home record in the club's history. There's not a lot we can do about that this season but it's another awful stat.
"Form like that has kept the manager and the players under pressure."
