Two second-half goals by striker Kevin Gallen earned non-league Luton victory over League Two high-fliers Rochdale in their FA Cup first-round replay.
The hosts dominated the opening hour of the contest, with Chris O'Grady having the best of several chances with a long-range shot against the bar.
But they fell behind when Gallen turned in a cross from Tom Craddock.
And Gallen sealed the win - which sets up a second-round trip to Rotherham - bundling the ball home on 73 minutes.
Luton manager Richard Money told BBC Three Counties Radio:
"I thought it was a thoroughly disciplined performance.
"The longer the game went on the better we got, the more we grew into it and over the two games I think we deserved it.
"Both goals were well taken. I thought he (Kevin Gallen) deserved both goals for a real workmanlike, hard performance.
"He led from the front in the way I would expect him to."
