Second-placed Notts County extended their unbeaten run to nine matches after a goalless draw with Bradford.
Gareth Evans had Bradford's best first-half effort, but his fierce right-foot shot was saved by Kasper Schmeichel.
After half time Schmeichel had to be at his best to stop efforts from Michael Flynn, Evans and James Hanson.
For County, Ben Davies fired over and Luke Rodgers had a shot saved by Matt Glennon, before Hanson fluffed a late Bradford chance, scooping over the top.
Bradford manager Peter Taylor told BBC Radio Leeds: "I thought they played very well - I think they maybe looked a little bit too nervous at the start of the game.
"When they started having a couple of touches instead of one we calmed down and started playing some nice football.
"The response was first class, I think the work rate was brilliant - we started nervously but got better."
Notts County manager Steve Cotterill told BBC Radio Nottingham: "The evening itself was dreadful; before the game the referee was looking at the pitch to see if we could play the game.
"That's how bad it was tonight, certainly down the one end. But credit to both sets of players, I thought they played very hard on a very difficult surface.
"I don't think we looked exposed or stretched at any stage, I felt that we were in control of the situation most of the time."
