Dag & Red 0-1 Darlington

A controversial goal from striker Pawel Abbott gave Darlington a victory over promotion rivals Dagenham and Redbridge which left them fourth in the table.

Abbott got on the end of a long ball on 74 minutes, and finished well with the home side vainly appealing for offside.

Dagenham, who now drop out of the play-off zone, saw Paul Benson have one effort ruled out for offside and another disallowed for a push.

Ben Strevens went close to a late equaliser, but his shot flew wide.
