Gillingham 2-1 Chesterfield

Gillingham's push for the play-offs continued thanks to first-half goals from Adam Miller and Simeon Jackson against Chesterfield.

The Gills took the lead when Andy Barcham turned Phil Picken and crossed for Miller to convert from six yards.

Jackson added the second when he latched onto Miller's flick and clipped the ball over the advancing Trevor Carson for his ninth of the season.

Jack Lester halved the deficit when he converted Darren Currie's cross.
