Bristol Rovers 2-0 Stockport

Rickie Lambert scored his 25th league goal of the season as Bristol Rovers won to dent Stockport's play-off hopes.

Rovers were in command from the fourth minute when Steve Elliott headed down a Stuart Campbell free-kick for Byron Anthony to volley in from close range.

Lambert's goal came from the penalty spot after James Tunnicliffe had handled Jo Kuffour's ball in the box.

Stockport failed to force a worthwhile save from Steve Phillips while Rovers could not manage to add to their tally.
