Scarborough Athletic have signed former Hull, Bradford and Middlesbrough striker Dean Windass.
The 41-year-old will play for the Northern Counties East League Premier Division club on a game-by-game basis, because of his television commitments.
Windass retired in 2009 but returned to the game in August with Barton Town Old Boys, in the Northern Counties East League Division One.
He scored a hat-trick in his one game for the side against Yorkshire Amateur.
During his career, Windass also had spells at Aberdeen, Oxford, Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Oldham and Darlington.
